In 1984, Our President Daniel Delmas invented the world’s first electric pruning shears.

INFACO S. A. was then founded as a family business. In 1985, at the SITEVI international exhibition in Montpellier, Daniel Delmas won the Golden Palm Award for Best Innovation for his “ELECTROCOUP” electric shear; INFACO sold its first 500 ELECTROCOUP shears during the three-day viticultural trade show.

For the past twenty six years, INFACO has been dedicated exclusively to the manufacturing of the “Electrocoup” electronic pruning shear, designed for the pruning and lopping of vines, fruit trees etc.

More than 140,000 “Electrocoup” electronic pruning shears have been sold to date in France, England, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Morocco, Japan, Korea, Canada, U.S.A., Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Australia and New Zealand.

Today, the INFACO SAS company, established in Cahuzac-sur-Vère (South of France), is still managed by Daniel Delmas, with a staff of 49 employees who strive on a daily basis to continually improve the Electrocoup, in order to satisfy their customers / users and earn their loyalty.

+ 25 years of Experience, Research and Development

The new F3010 was entirely conceived within our research and development department.

The design, ergonomics and reliability tests were also elaborated and executed within the company.

More than 6 years of research went into the creation of the latest ELECTROCOUP F3010 model.

In order to fully optimise their performance and reliability, the pruning shears were tested for 3 entire season of pruning operation, carried out in the greatest secrecy.
